Lambs wool Sheepskin
This
mamas & papas sheepskin fleece gets lots
of use. It moves from his cot to his buggy
and back again every day. They keep baby cool
when its warm and warm when its hot. He loves
his. A good quality one is not cheap but I
feel it was worth every penny. |

No more
loose covers. For all sorts of safety reasons
these fitted sleep bags are a great idea. Baby
can sleep comfortably in the sleeping bag which
fits around their upper body. Comes in a variety
of designs and tog ratings to suit the season.
I use grobags bought online from Bumpto3. |

Bag-its
Handy little rolls
of throw away lightly scented bags that you can
hang onto your buggy or bag. Great for when I
take the buggy and the dogs walking. |
|
Canopy Sunshade
Zachary's
3 wheeler has a limited sun canopy. The parasol
I bought was annoying as I had to keep moving
it. This invention is fab. Easy to attach and
adjust. Rolls up into handy bag and will attach
to any buggy. I bought mine from Blooming Marvelous. |
|
Palmers Cocoa Butter
I was determined to avoid stretch marks. I loved the texture and
smell. Apparently stretch marks are about your skin type and
no cream will make a difference but its worth atry right. I don't
have any stretch marks. |
|
Olive Oil Massages
Zachary loves having a massage. I was taught
baby massage while I was in hospital with
him. It helps develop muscle tone and later
in life a positive mental body image. Olive
Oil is a natural healer for the body and
so good for keeping baby skin oils locked
in. |

Annabel Karmel's books
This book is great. It was recommended by my
friend Helen and is fab. It has provided
some ideas for cooking his baby foods and
weaning him from start up to toddler age.
The idea is to get him being able to eat
a reduced form of our meals. Learning to
accept lots of tastes early on helps to develop
tastes for a good variety of foods. |

Chicco Highchair - Hawaii
This highchair was such a good find. Actually
this is one product that I didn't have to
find by accident or on my own. Liz bought
a wooden highchair then realised a plastic
one would be easier to clean etc. This Chicco
Polly chair was the one they bought. So I
copied. Its fab. Has 3 back rest settings.
4 height settings. Detachable tray. Great
padding. Sturdy and comfortable for baby.
It is worth the money. I found mine cheaper
by searching the internet. |

Little Dippers Learn to Swim
This is without doubt one of my best buys. Babies
can drown in 2inches of water. More often than
not babies and children drown because they
panic. Teaching Zachary to be confident in
the water is really important to me especially
since I am a real water person myself and
he will probably come into contact with a
lot of water. Plus we have a swimming pool.
The lessons start off in the bath and are
reinforced every time you bath baby which
is great. It means this is easy to do at
home and practice with baby. Zachary is doing
really well.
He splashes lots and loves to practice his
kicking. Its great to build strength and
wears him out so that he sleeps well too. |
